The Day of her 1st Birthday party which we had on March 20th
Auntie Ashleigh and Uncie Jon came in from Chicago for the Big day !!! So glad they could be there !! We also got to skype Jason in Idaho while we were singing happy birthday and Lanier was digging into her cake. Aunt Ke Ke was at work :( The day was GORGEOUS !!!

Our First Taste of Cows Milk :). Lanier has been on her sippy cups from about 11 months and everything has been great with that. Recently I let her sip a straw and low and behold... she took it like a champ. So she has been getting her water and her sips of juice with that now.
She enjoyed her slide box more then the slide at this point
I LOVE this picture. So as I have mentioned before, Lanier is enthrolled with the Oven.. so her daddy got her a little oven and it came with food. She loves to crawl around with this hamburger and its bun in her mouth... What a nut

This was a little picnic we had after we came home with Bushia from the Pink Palace museum last Tuesday... We ate at the Woman's Exchange with my mother in law, then to the pink palace... which we found out after 1 is free on Tuesdays... I forgot how Huge that place was. Had a great time looking at all the exhibits. Ohh so back to the picture.. Lanier had had about 6 teddy grahams in her mouth prior to this picture. She was showing me otherwise

Easter pics to come.. I had to work so I'll have to re-enact the day and Lanier in her pretty dress sometime this week... Such is the life of a working mom.
On to new baby.. Last appointment went great 2 weeks ago. Heartbeat was heard on dopplar. I have had some excruciating back pain and nothin but rest has really helped. I have stress fractures in my back (L1 and L2 vertebrae) from back in late 2003... thanks to my wonderful soccer career. Doc said that they might not ever heal completly so every now and then... It comes back to kick me in the butt. I really do think that I just did WAY to much house cleaning for Lanier's birthday. I have called into work 2 days because I just could barely move. THANK GOODNESS my mother is in town. She came over and just watched and picked up Lanier for me so I could rest my back and and seems to have helped :) I have pain meds but I not taken but 1/2 a darvocet... I cannot and I cross my fingers imagine being on bed rest, let alone having another child to take care of... WOW. So we go back to the doc on April 20 somethingish :) Then come May 1st Lanier is being Baptized !!! And everyone is coming in town.!!! Lanier is going to wear the same gown that I, along with all my cousins have worn, which happens to be made out of my mothers 1st comuinion dress :) We didn't think it would fit her, since we waited so long to get her baptized. SUPER excited about that!! I almost forgot.!! Lanier went for her 1 year check-up on her birthday and got 2 shots and was no harm for wear. She was 50th for height, 25th in head circumference and 25th in weight at a wopping....... drum roll... drum roll.... 19 pounds 8 oz...
I was surprised, she is an active little thing but a piggy at eating too.. I so though she would be about 21 pounds.

she knows who everyone is and points when I ask her, she knows the fan, oven, mickey, casey, stoli
She clasps her hands when asked too, she still raises her hands when you ask her how big is Lanier
she knows where her mouth is, gives kisses ( mouth wide open), and waves bye bye
takes 2 naps a day
snuggles with mommy sometimes before bedtime and if she isn't laying down and goofing around all i have to say is.. you wanna go to crib.. she then smiles, grabs her lovie and lays her head down ( its pretty cute)
