Pictures.. Pictures.. to recap our past month

I promise to get better at blogging.  I have been busy latley and haven't uploaded pictures in a while.  So here is a recap of our last month or so.  Lanier in her Easter dress.  I cannot even explain to you how lucky I am to have so many hand me down clothes for my little nuggie.  I mean seriously... I really might have to take a picture of just her closet full of smocked, womans exchange, clothing show dresses just to let you all see.  It's insane !!! Thanks to my sister in law and to my mother in law for keeping all thier childrens dresses !!! Not to mention the fact that little Marrin will get to reap the benifits as well.  Its GREAT for my budget TOO.
I had to work on Easter so her she is on the following tuesday
There is just something about this pic ! I LOVE it

She did not want her picture taken this day... so this is about all i got

Lanier's Christening
Wow what a weekend. May 1st.  So we had my grandparents and my brother, Jon,  in from chicago, my older brother Jason came in from Ketchum and the tornado sirens in from everywhere.  I felt so bad bringing people into harms way, but who could have predicted that.  Tornando Sirens were on and off ALL day long for about 24-48 hours, even during her baptism the sirens were going off in collierville.  It was one crazy weekend of flooding too.  We made it through and got to enjoy some Commisary and Miss Muffin cake.
Lanier actually still fit into my familys' christening gown and I was soo happy about that.  Myself, as well as all my cousins have worn it.  Each of our names in sewn on the slip.  It was made out of my mothers first Communion dress.  How special !! Lanier looked BEAUTIFUL !!!

Our BEAUTIFUL healthy little 7 oz baby girl.  We are so blessed to be welcoming another daughter to our precious family.  Lanier is going to have a sister and we could not be more happy.  Marrin Elizabeth Treadwell is due to make her arrival around October 20th.  Her name (Mer-in) is a name I have loved for a while.  I fell in love with it about 10 years ago.  When we were pretty sure it was a girl, Tim told me to write down the names I liked and this one was on the top.  I couldn't believe it when he said... I like Marrin. I told him he had better not be kidding with me.  So we looked it up and Tim got to pick the spelling ( which I LOVE).  Tim got to pick her middle name and choose Elizabeth after his sister ( awesome,  I know !! ) Elizabeth happens to be a family name on my side too.  What a GREAT name she will carry.  SO now I can say that both of our daughters have one of their names from their Aunts.  Lanier is Amelia, my sister in laws, middle name and now Marrin will have Elizabeth !!!
I am in the process of picking out stuff for Laniers new room.  She is going to get a twin bed and we will just put the mattress on the floor for now and Marrin will get to bunk up in the nursery.    I have picked out fabric ans she is going to have a grown up room.  Not so kiddy but soo cute. So baby girl, your gonna get the hand me down nursery from your sis.  It works great having two girls !!  Hope you all enjoyed the pics.
