CRAWLING !!!

Lanier is just over 7 months old and growing and CRAWLING. I cannot believe my baby girl is crawling. She has been doing awesome and Tim and I were actually sitting with her in the family room when she decided to show us her new skill. She also has started to pull up a bit too !!! I use these exclamation points, however, i know that we are in for a big new adventure now. She is such a cutie and so so happy. Here are some pics. sorry to all you facebook people. You are probably seeing all these pictures twice. Ohh and some exciting news, Lanier is going to get her H1N1 vaccine next in a week !!! We had to wait the 28 days from her last vaccines, so I am glad we can get in on Tuesday. I too will be gettin gone at work this week. Enjoy !!

Zoo day with Courtney and Carter

Lanier's second trip to Florida

Mom and dad with Lanier.
(1st Grandchild)

Nuggie and I

Aint she a doll

Mom and Lanier chillin' on the front deck. Lanier loved to sit and watch all the cars and motorcycles drive by

On one of our many walks. It was so nice to wake up and take a stroll in the cool breeze. We stopped off to eat breakfast on the beach and then strolled back home. Can't beat that !!

One of my favorites... notice the mismatched outfit...but she sure did pull it off

Breakfast at the Seahorse. A local restaurant that has been there forever. Great breakfast and we always make it there at least once. Its only a couple blocks from my parents and a nice walk along the bay.

Cool morning

For some reason this picture caught my eye.. I think its the beautiful waves in the background. Lanier loved to chase the birds and feel the tide coming in. We did manage to swim once but not for long. I didn't have her out in the middle of the day and by evening it would get a tad chilly... she enjoyed the tiny dip though !!

To all those mommies reading this. I knew Ralph Lauren ran small but when I tried on this dress my mom got Lanier down there, I was surprised to see that she actually fit in it. Its a 12 month !!!

My goof nuggie

Toes.. Toes.. and More Toes...

To cute.. my child.. I know..

Mom and Lanier beachin' with her toys that they got her

More Busia fun.. That's the name Lanier is going to call my mother. Mom is really mostly Irish but couldn't find a good Gaelic grandmother name. Busia is really not the Polish name for Grandmother... more like a shortened/chicago Polish lingo name for grandmother... anyone following me on this... Easier to explain in person. My dad is just Gampie for now.

Food shot

Here is a funny. So my parents have nothing but tiles in the house and some carpets, but nothing to break a fall to the noggin. So we put down a futon that they had and surrounded it with pillows and whaaaalaaa... a place for Lanier to sit and play while we watched her and TV. Worked really good seeing as all she wants to do now is sit up. SHe is now sitting up from a belly position. Fun but nerve racking at the same time. We have a play mat at home that is foam but she still manages to fling her head back every once in a while, so we have it surrounded by pillows and blankets. The tricky part to all of this is that when I put her to bed or down for a nap on her belly, she immediately pushes herself up to sit. Well, she has managed to hit her head a couple times since we have no bumpers and the crib has been lowered. Whatcha gonna do though...

Hangin' with gampie

This is an adorable outfit we got from a lady that works for my dad. I was worried we really wouldn't get to wear it anywhere since this past Florida trip was just something we decided to do on a whim while Tim was gonna be out of town any way to. SO it worked perfect and it was sooo cute on her !!

My parents got this tent that bocks the UVA and UVB rays and she loved it. She will use this for many years to come.

Some Tid bits on Lanier. I might be repeating myself a bit but she is just over 6 months old. She has already made 2 trips to Florida and was a PERFECT angel on the plane. This past time we went alone and it was fine. Thank you to my parents for buying a car seat so we didn't have to tote one around. She is saying Da DA Da Da as of recent. SHe sits, she scoots on all fours, reaches for all her toys. She is a crazy woman on her belly and does turns like shes a pinwheel. We are eating 4 Six ounces bottles a day or straight up Similac ... NO MORE hypoallergenic Alimuentium. She gets two meals ( breakfast and dinner). She is "raking" on everything and once she gets that little pincher grap is allowed to have cut up table food. She is still getting that weird blotchy skin when she eats. Not with everything only sometimes and with nothing in particular. She is sooo happy and smiles all the time. She LOVES to scream and hear her voice. She sleeps for 10-12 hours a night
6 month stats
15 pounds 12 oz
25.5 inches
Both being in the 50%
Dr. Cat says she is doing AWESOME and was surprised to see her sitting up so well on her own.

Till next time !!
