Alot of FIRSTS in December

Since I just posted a couple days ago with a ton of pictures... I decided to not upload a ton... NOT.. for all you facebookers that also follow me.. sorry for the same pictures but my grandparents and the older I mean wiser group of followers need to see this adorable little girl !!! ENJOY

  I had to work 7-7 so I missed most of the festivites but still had a great time catching up with my extended family !! My parents were in Chicago as always.  It just so happens they had a blizzard there starting Christmas night.  Snow was already on the ground and they had a wonderful white Christmas.  Jon and Ashleigh also stayed in Chicago for Christmas and plan to head down to Florida on the 31st visit Ashleigh's family in Tampa.  Jason and Keily stayed in Sun Valley, where they now live, and had to "work" on Christmas.  I put work in paratheses since they too ended up having a blizzard and their electricity was out for like 15 hours on Christmas.  So I guess they could not really "work."  Crazy

I almost forgot. Tim took Lanier for her 9 month check up since I had to work.  She got 2 shots and her finger pricked :(.  Tim said she did great.  He reported back to me all her stats and gave me answers to all the questions I had given him like a pro.  She is a whopping 18 pounds which I think is around the 30th percentile or so and she is 75% in length... don't remember what it was, nor do I remember her head  circumference which I think is now in the 45th percentile.  She is still all over the place and pulling up on everything.  She now only gets 2 meals a day since she wasn't finishing her bottles.  She takes four 6 ounce bottles a day which is the least she should take and if she is not finishing those then she doesn't need a third meal.  Feeding this kid her bottles ( which is her main source of nutrition at this point, table food is just to practice) is like pulling teeth.  She can have anything we eat * except for seafood, peanuts, eggs, and honey.

ohh and the only way I was able to post pictures on facebook and here is due to my poor sick child... she must be catching up on all the sleep she missed.  She has taken a 3 hour nap and now she is sleeping again.

One last FIRST Lanier had too... she got to skype with Jon and Ashleigh in Chicago !!! It is the best thing ever.. Jon had never seen her crawl or pull up.  It is sooo cool and we plan on getting Jason and Keily logged on too !!! visit us  http://www.skype.com/   Our screen name is Treadwells3 !!!!!!!!

next time... by request I will be blogging about my two very precious furry children... since, I guess I have neglected to blog about them in some time... it will be especially for MiMi

She is a HOT mess !!!

So like the title says... Lanier is a HOT MESS theses days.  She is ALL over the place !!!  So... no she wasn't stuck in the exersaucer all day, she is only in there when I have to take a shower.  A while back, I guess she just couldn't wait for me to get out to take her little nap.

Christmas shopping at the mall with Bushia and Mommy.  My mom (jane) and I had our first and definaltely not our last Chocholate peppermint shake from Chick-fil-a... YUM YUM

Ohh and yes our bath tub is green and the tile is pink to match !!! Next renovation job since the rest of the house is all done.  Lanier doesn't seem to mind and neither do I after 2 years.

Thanksgiving and Chicago

What a busy last 2 weeks.  Thanksgiving was great.  I was suppose to work 7-7 but actually got called off for 8 hours in the morning.  So I only had to go in from 3-7 and the census was low so it was not too bad. I did, however, basically miss the thanksgiving fest.  Mom didn't cook this year since we were headed to chicago the next day.  My parents were invited over to my in laws so Thanksgiving was a big family affair.  I still have to upload some more pics.  I am upset at the fact that Tim, Lanier and I didn't take a family picture, but I guess we forgot since I was working... ohh well.  So here are some pics from turkey day and our amazing trip to Chicago. And YES we drove the 9 1/2 hours with an 8 month old.

So Jon and Ash just moved to chicago.  Ashleigh got a promotion and they are living downtown  in the same building that 2 of our cousins already have a place in.  They are also right across the street from my Aunt and Uncle.  So how fun to be in the city and have family close by.  I have to see if they mind if I post some pics of their place, since I have a ton.  They are enjoying themselves and finally getting settled in after staying with my grandparents for a couple weeks.  Their apartment is on the 14th floor with great views of the Sears (Willis) tower and michigan ave.  Jon was stil in Ohio for Thanksgiving when we were in town so we didn't get to see him... Sad :(

Lanier on the car ride home.  She did AWESOME in the car both way.  We stopped once on the way up and back at Cracker Barrel for about an hour.  She was soo soo good.  We left each time at 5 o'clock on the dot.  She was fed and went back to sleep while it was still dark in the car.

She had her station all set up with her mickey mouse clubhouse movie that I think she watched about 8 times.  She loved it each time though.  Some Gerber puffs helped kill the time too. 

Some tid bits on my baby girl.  She is going to be 9 months on the 23rd of this month.  She is crawling all over the place and pullin up on the sofa and ottoman.. and laundry basket.  She is pulling her feet in and taking tiny steps to be closer to the sofa.  She actually stood by herself for like 7 seconds the other day.  She is so interested in everything.  She is eating Gerber 3rd foods and some small foods that I cut up for her.  She loves her puffs, if only she would use her fingers and put them in her mouth instead of me feeding her like a bird.  The only thing she will put in her mouth is her blanket and fingers for sleeping, no toys or food ( she is silly like that).  She is in size 3 diapers and has been for a bit.  Last night I finally felt that razor sharp little tooth in her mouth which explains the rough last 2 nights with her waking up.   She is still a little chatterbox saying mostly da da and loves to blow bubbles with her lips.  She is soo stinkin cute. till next time
