back to work :(

So it was back to work this week. Sad but it was fine. We are very fortunate that Lanier is being watched by my mom and mother-in-law. Luckily I only work 3 days a week and get to be with other peoples babies... Ohh and I forgot to mention in my last post that Lanier weighed 10lbs 7 oz and was 22 3/4 in long which were both in the 50th percentile. Ha Ha she doubled her birth weight @ 2 months !!

Our first family dinner out at one of the weekly cookouts out on the patio @ Germantown. It was a beautiful night and we had a great time with friends and meeting some new members !! Yes, I know she was 10 weeks and 4 days old. We had never attempted anything like this since she cried all the time.. however, the last two weekends we have been out all weekend long at parties and get togethers with friends ! Its WONDERFUL to get to show her off and to not have a screaming child on my hands

June 1st...This is the day of my moms final surgery for her reconstruction !!!! We can hopefully put an end to that chapter in our lives, we still have a couple years yet to ensure that she is cancer free. It was a bittersweet day at the Centella's. Lanier was more pooped out than my mom. Jon just LOVES our little girl to pieces !!!
